Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Michelle.

Long before I ever made candles, I loved them. They were part of everyday life — after a stressful day, after cleaning the house, before settling down with a book.

It was never really about the candle. It was about how it made me feel.

That simple ritual of lighting a flame and breathing in a familiar scent had a way of helping me switch off the noise and enjoy the moment I was already in.

When I eventually started making candles myself, curiosity quickly became a passion. The more I learned, the more I wanted to create something thoughtful — using carefully chosen ingredients, hand-poured in small batches here in Oxfordshire.

Terra & Light grew from that idea: creating home fragrance that makes everyday moments feel a little more meaningful.
